About ME
Born in Chicago and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina, Ebony Elaine Hardin is an LA based Producer with roots in casting for TV, Film, and Broadway. She's worked with NBCUniversal, Netflix, Dropout and Focus Features on various TV series and films including Pretty Little Liars, Sense8, Baby Driver, Jason Bourne, and Dimension 20, among others.
With a passion for developing and producing projects with visionary creatives, Ebony is currently producing Trashy People, a coming-of-age environmental dramady written and directed by Marissa High. In the short film space, Ebony produced Mr. Talented (dir. Rochée Jeffrey), which screened at the Austin Film Festival in 2018 and competed in the HBO Short Film Competition at MVAAFF. More recently she’s produced The Bluest Hour (dir. Logan Jackson), Dinner Party Dictator (dir. Bente Engelstoft) and The Flacalta Effect (dir. Rochée Jeffrey) which will all be on the 2024 festival circuit.
Ebony produced NPR favorite, Dungeons and Drag Queens, a D&D mini-series starring Jujubee, Monét X Change, Alaska Thunderfuck, and Bob The Drag Queen as well as over 50 podcasts episodes for CH Media including Erotic Book Club and Tales From The Closet, a queer podcast that focused on coming out, finding peace, and living well as well.
Ebony is honored to have been selected as a 2018 NCBW Maya Angelou Phenomenal Woman Award Winner, a 2021 Constellation Incubator Producing Fellow, a 2022 Film Independent Project Involve Producing Fellow, and a 2023 (to be announced) Producing Fellow & Film Finance Intensive participant.
She holds a BFA in Acting from Carnegie Mellon University with a minor in Business Administration.
